“I’ve always had a difficult time saying ‘goodbye’”

“I wrote this song about the way a relationship that once mean’t the world to the people in it, can come to only be a memory. Sometimes that’s a fond memory, sometimes its bittersweet. The feeling of it was just raw emotion I was experiencing, and how sometimes, to end things abruptly feels easier than a slow fade. I’ve always had a difficult time saying “goodbye” and this song embodies that, I think in a very poignant and poetic way.”
